Today's Yoga Flow



Hello! Wherever you are in the world today, I hope you are staying in the present moment and making it peaceful and powerful!

Love is an action, never simply a feeling. bell hooks

Sometimes in class, I will offer people the chance to guide the feeling of love to their heartspace by imagining someone or something that brings them truly heartfelt joy. This action may bring a sense of peace. If done often throughout the day, it may even make you more resilient.

Most importantly, you are bringing attention TO LOVE, and whatever you bring attention to expands.

Plus, you cannot hold love and hate at the same time. So choose love.

Recently, I was in conversation with one of my loved ones in the world. They were overwhelmed, depressed, saddened, and angered about the state of [gestures around] ALL OF IT.

I understand. I also feel ALL OF IT. "But what are you DOING about it?" the conversation continued...

My answer, like my self, is not perfect: "I'm doing love. I'm not doing hate."

It may seem like so little. But if everyone looked at each of their actions and chose only those of Love, hate would have no room in the group chat.
